Personal advice, made-to-measure solutions and installation in Parkstad
For folding-arm awnings in Hoensbroek, a made-to-measure solution is important. Hoensbroek lies between Heerlen and Brunssum and is a residential community in its own right within Parkstad. Why folding-arm awnings are the perfect choice for your patio
Optimal sun shading and heat regulation
A Renoco folding-arm awning is available from €1,499 incl. VAT and installation
Folding-arm awnings create a generous area of shade on your patio, so you can enjoy it to the full without having to sacrifice daylight.
Thanks to its generous projection, a folding-arm awning provides pleasant shade on your patio and indoors. This prevents your home from heating up unnecessarily, so you need to use air conditioning less.
By keeping the heat out in summer and providing extra insulation in winter, folding-arm awnings help reduce your energy costs. What is more, they are often made from durable, low-maintenance materials.
The colour of the awning fabric determines the look and the effectiveness
The awning fabric determines not only the look of your patio but also how effective the sun shading is. In our showroom, we will be happy to show you the various options in colours and designs. From modern plain colours to classic stripes – there is always a fabric that perfectly suits your home and patio.

4.6 average on Google
5 out of 5 stars
Quick response to my contact request, courteous and professional personal advice from Guido, fast delivery and installation.
5 out of 5 stars
From the initial guidance through to the after-sales service, everything went perfectly. In the showroom all the options and materials are discussed. When they come to measure, they look once more at what is possible. And the installers did a good job in the pouring rain. Friendly and helpful staff who pay attention to the customer.
5 out of 5 stars
Good advice; we even compared quotes with each other and theirs was cheaper. Clear agreements, good communication, good service after I had a question about the product supplied, and hard workers as installers. We had a double garage door installed. In short, a satisfied customer!

You have various control options: manually with a crank handle, electrically with a Somfy motor and wall switch or remote control, or via your smartphone with the Somfy app. With sun and wind sensors, your awning even responds automatically to the weather conditions.
We offer an extensive collection of more than 100 high-quality awning fabrics, from modern plain colours to classic striped patterns. All fabrics are weather-resistant and colourfast and come with a 5-year warranty. In our showroom you can see and feel all the options.
Clean the fabric regularly with lukewarm water and mild soap. Spray the rotating parts once a year with silicone spray (not WD40). Retract the awning in good time in strong wind or rain. You can clean the aluminium parts with car shampoo and protect them with car wax.
There are three main types: open, semi-cassette and cassette awnings. With an open system the back is open and only the front bar closes against the fabric. A semi-cassette has a partly closed housing, while a cassette fully protects the fabric from the weather when it is rolled up.
Our folding-arm awnings are available with a maximum projection of 4 metres. The exact projection depends on your specific situation and wishes. In our showroom we will be happy to advise you on the options for your patio.
The fabric has a water-repellent treatment and can cope with a light shower. In normal or prolonged rain we advise retracting the awning to prevent water from pooling. Always let a wet fabric dry first before you roll it up.
Folding-arm awnings are wind-resistant up to wind force 5 (29-38 km/h). At higher wind speeds we advise retracting the awning to prevent damage. With the optional wind sensor, your awning is retracted automatically when the wind is too strong.
