Side-sliding sectional door from Renoco
Looking to have a side-sliding sectional door installed?
Discover the ultimate convenience and smart space saving of the side-sliding sectional door. This innovative garage door opens horizontally along the inside wall of your garage. With one simple movement you can open the door only part of the way (pedestrian door function) – perfect for popping out quickly with your bicycle or the wheelie bin without having to open the whole door. This makes a separate pedestrian door unnecessary.
From our Sittard-Geleen branch we install side-sliding sectional doors throughout Limburg and in the neighbouring municipalities in Belgium and Germany. Visit our modern 1,500 m² showroom in Sittard, where one of our advisers will be happy to help you personally to make the right choice.

A smart choice: side-sliding sectional door from €4,499
Why choose a Ryterna side-sliding sectional door through Renoco?
The side-sliding sectional doors from Renoco (Ryterna) are constructed from 40 mm thick insulated panels with durable steel sheets and a hard-wearing coating. The PUR insulation gives a U-value of 1.0 W/m²K. The door is available in various RAL colours and woodgrain finishes.
The door leaf runs smoothly sideways along an aluminium floor and ceiling track, with plastic roller carriages ensuring quiet operation. You can use part of the opening or all of it.
You operate the door manually or electrically with a Somfy or Ryterna motor. For safety, the door is fitted with finger-trap protection; with motorisation, obstacle detection is added.
Smart design: maximum ceiling height available
Unique construction for optimum use of space
- 1 Adjustable partial opening (pedestrian door function)
- 2 No loss of space at the ceiling
- 3 Minimal fitting space needed at the side (approx. 20 cm)
- 4 Compact motor and guide rails at the top
- 5 External control unit (optional)
- 6 Low bottom guide for a minimal threshold
“The side-sliding sectional door offers unique ways of opening and can be fully adapted to the specific construction of your garage, even in challenging fitting situations.”
Why a side-sliding sectional door is the ideal choice
The solution for specific garage situations
Free ceiling, pedestrian door function and excellent insulation
A side-sliding sectional door offers several unique advantages that make it an excellent choice for many garages. Because the door opens along the side wall, your ceiling remains completely free. That is ideal for tall vehicles, for storage (such as a surfboard or roof box) or for fitting lighting.
You can also open the door part of the way as a pedestrian door, for quick access on foot or by bicycle without opening the whole garage door. The door is also suitable where fitting space is limited, such as in garages with a low or sloping roof, or with pipes or other obstacles on the ceiling that make it difficult to install a traditional sectional garage door. What is more, the 40 mm thick insulated panels provide excellent thermal and acoustic insulation.

I can really recommend this company: beautiful, extensive showroom in Sittard, friendly but above all knowledgeable staff, short delivery time and a "normal" price. Our garage door was not a standard size, but could be installed fairly quickly; with their "colleagues" the delivery time was 6–8 weeks, with Renoco within a week.

We are very satisfied with the way we were informed once we had decided to buy a new garage door. In the showroom we were given clear information about the options. After 2 days someone came to our home to look at the situation and measure everything. The garage door was delivered just a week later. The old door was removed and taken away. The installers who fitted the door were very capable and very friendly. After 4 hours the door was perfectly in place and working 100%. I will recommend Renoco to everyone. Hats off!

Last month a Renoco installer fitted a new garage door, and yesterday two installers were busy fitting new roller shutters. Both the removal of the old items and the installation of the new door and roller shutters were carried out very skilfully by the installers. The result is beautiful and we are very satisfied with the whole picture. We can therefore recommend Renoco to everyone.

The unique advantage is twofold:
1. Clear ceiling: The door slides along the side wall, leaving your garage ceiling completely clear for storage (skis, surfboards), tall vehicles or lighting.
2. Integrated pedestrian door function: You can partially open the door as standard for easy access on foot or by bike, without having to move the whole door.
You need a clear side wall next to the door opening, for the door panels to slide along. The width required depends on the width of the door. The fitting depth (the space between the wall and any obstacles) is often surprisingly small (approx. 20 cm). Above the opening, only minimal space is needed for the top track and motor. Our advisers in Sittard will measure the situation accurately at your home in Limburg.
Using the electric operation (remote control or app), you can programme a fixed partial opening. At the touch of a button the door then slides open by, for example, 80-100 cm, just enough to walk through comfortably. So you do not have to wait until the whole door is open.
Yes, the insulation value is comparable. We use the same high-quality, 40 mm thick insulated sandwich panels as for our standard sectional garage doors. Together with the all-round seals, this provides excellent thermal and acoustic insulation.
Absolutely. Because the door slides along the wall and no horizontal tracks on the ceiling are needed, the side-sliding sectional door is a perfect solution for garages with a sloping roof or other obstacles on the ceiling.
Very safe. They are fitted as standard with obstacle detection on the motor (it stops and reverses when it meets resistance), finger-trap protection between the panels and a safe guide system. Extra locks or SKG certification can be added as an option for maximum burglar resistance.
Yes, the Somfy motor used can be linked to the Somfy TaHoma® switch. This lets you operate the door via the TaHoma app on your smartphone, set up scenarios and check the status, wherever you are. Take advantage of our offer for a free TaHoma upgrade.
The price depends on the dimensions, the design you choose and any extra options. Because of its specific construction, the price is often slightly higher than that of a standard sectional garage door. A high-quality, insulated side-sliding sectional door is available at Renoco from approx. €4,175 (incl. VAT, motor and installation). Request a tailored quotation in our showroom in Sittard.
As with other sectional garage doors, maintenance is minimal. It is important to clean the panels regularly and to keep the top and bottom guide rails clean. Lightly lubricating the rollers and hinges from time to time helps the door to run smoothly.
The door is fitted with an emergency release on the motor. This lets you disconnect the motor and slide the door open or closed by hand from the inside.
The installation is carried out by our installers and usually takes one working day, including removal of your old garage door where applicable.
Yes, when we install your new side-sliding sectional door, our installers will, if you wish, remove your old metal up-and-over door (or other old door) and dispose of it for you free of charge and in an environmentally friendly way.
