Why choose Dutch canopies from Renoco?
The unique benefits of Dutch canopies
Effective sun shading: Dutch canopies offer excellent protection from direct sunlight and heat. Because they also cover the sides of the window, they keep the sun out very effectively, resulting in a pleasantly cool interior on hot summer days in Limburg.
Authentic look: No other form of sun shading adds as much character and classic charm to your façade as a Dutch canopy. They are the perfect choice for historic buildings, farmhouses and 1930s houses, but can also create a surprisingly stylish contrast with more modern architecture.
Durability & quality: Renoco supplies Dutch canopies with sturdy frames (available in timber or low-maintenance aluminium) and high-quality, weather-resistant fabrics. You are assured of a long service life and years of enjoyment, backed by a 5-year warranty.

Style and functionality hand in hand
The fabric of your Dutch canopy determines both its look and its performance. At Renoco you can choose from an extensive collection of colours and designs, from classic stripes to modern plain colours. The colour affects the amount of light that comes in and the heat protection.
Our advisers in the Sittard showroom will be happy to show you the samples and advise you on the best choice for your specific situation and wishes. We take into account the architecture of your home in Limburg, the atmosphere you want and the degree of sun shading you need.
Timber or aluminium frame
Select a classic timber frame or opt for durable, low-maintenance aluminium in a range of colours.
Optional electric operation
Add Somfy motorisation for optimal convenience, operated by remote control or smartphone app (TaHoma®).

4.6 average on Google
5 out of 5 stars
Quick response to my contact request, courteous and professional personal advice from Guido, fast delivery and installation.
5 out of 5 stars
From the initial guidance through to the after-sales service, everything went perfectly. In the showroom all the options and materials are discussed. When they come to measure, they look once more at what is possible. And the installers did a good job in the pouring rain. Friendly and helpful staff who pay attention to the customer.
5 out of 5 stars
Good advice; we even compared quotes with each other and theirs was cheaper. Clear agreements, good communication, good service after I had a question about the product supplied, and hard workers as installers. We had a double garage door installed. In short, a satisfied customer!

Frequently asked questions about Dutch canopies
Answers to your questions | Renoco Sittard
Haven't found your answer?
Call 046 - 808 01 17 or ask your question in the showroom.
With good maintenance, Dutch canopies last 15-20 years on average. The fabric may need to be replaced sooner, roughly every 8-10 years, depending on exposure to the weather and use.
Yes, in most cases existing manually operated Dutch canopies can be motorised. For this we use Somfy motors, which can also be operated with your smartphone.
To keep your Dutch canopies in the best possible condition, we recommend regular maintenance: clean the fabric with lukewarm water and mild soap, check the fixing points and mechanical parts once a year, and preferably do not leave the canopies extended in strong wind or rain.
There is no need to take down Dutch canopies in winter. We do advise keeping them in the retracted position and, if desired, protecting them with a winter cover for extra protection against the weather.
Dutch canopies are wind-resistant up to wind force 4 (20-28 km/h). At higher wind speeds we advise retracting the canopies to prevent damage.
